Hindustan Copper FPO may hit the streets in January 2011

The proposed Follow-on Public Offer of Hindustan Copper Ltd. may hit the streets in January 2011. The exact time for the IPO would be declared later. Hindustan Copper is already listed on stock exchanges and proposes to come up with an FPO

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines, was incorporated in 1967. According to the company's website, it has the distinction of being the nation’s only vertically integrated copper producing company as it manufactures copper right from the stage of mining to beneficiation, smelting, refining and casting of refined copper metal into downstream saleable products
