Shipping Corporation of India FPO bid 0.35 times on Opening Day

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. FPO, which has opened for subscription from yesterday, has been bid 0.35 times or 35% on an overall basis on its opening day, with bids coming mainly from QIB Category, which was bid 0.68 times till Day 1, while the response from other categories has been negligible on the opening day with the Retail Category bid about 5% till the opening day

SCI FPO consists of 84,690,730 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each in a price band of Rs.135/- to Rs.140/- per equity share. The Retail Category would get a discount of 5% on the Issue Price. Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) is a “Navratna” company and is India’s largest shipping companies handling about 35% of market share
